Let's Talk About Anxiety

Author:

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreadeth out her roots by the river and shall not see when heat cometh.
Jeremiah 17: 7-8

Let's talk about anxiety and the confidence we have in the Lord.

So often we find ourselves feeling anxious and worried about a specific season we are in. They feel heavy like the weight of the world is on us! I have found myself in these seasons more times that I want to admit but what I have learned recently is that I have the confidence of the Lord inside of me. I have started praying daily for his confidence to shine through. Slow I have felt the weight be lifted as I have let go and let the Lord be the one in control. Anxiety does come creeping back in but as I recognized it I start talk to the Lord. Again and again his confidence takes over as I give it to him.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that Labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. This is my go to verse when anxiety and worry return in my life.

Our weapons in this earthy life is our relationship with the Lord in pray and the bible he has written.

I pray that each of you that take time to read this devotion will lean into Jesus for all of lives many ups and downs. He is the answer and he will always give you rest!
